I have some questions about materials I pla on using in my AP Studio Design 3D class.
Wire:
What crochet/knitting needles would match 26-30 guage wire?
I'd like to use smallsmall wire, and not have the fabric too loopy as I want to use it along with wire mesh.
Fabric:
What is the most airy, sheer, yet solid fabric you can think of?(By sold I mean not tulle, or anything with largish holes)I was thinking thin silk or sheer drapery fabric... but what is the name of the drapery fabric?
What can dye said fabric easily?
And how would one spraypaint fabric without it being stiff and thick?
Or what sort of easily blendable, light paint/dye is there for fabric?
Finally, some plastic questions:
How would one melt plastic grocery bags just enough to attach them together?
And what somewhat common plastic could be melted enough to drape over an object while it's still warm?
If anyone can throw some pointers or links on the wire somtime before tommorow afternoon, that'd be AWESOMETASTIC.
Thanks guys! <3
[and if I get the the pointers and such after tommorow, I will just wait till next week to get the correct supplies, on our grocery run, with gas being so high and scarce here, there will be no extra running about ;-;]
And I will definately show what I am making when I'm done! But the topic is my secret for now :3
