Since I Spend Most of My Time Doing Dishes Anyway

Setting up drdjmike’s ginormous seventy-five gallon fish tank in the dining room resulted in the corresponding displacement of my Quan Yin alter. I’m going to sell most of my alter implements in my upcoming yard sale because real Buddhists detest clutter anyway. I do, however, still want to display my Quan Yin statue. I decided to perch it on the windowsill above the kitchen sink. My kitchen is red with powder gray trim, so the statue actually fits well here. To spruce up the Goddess’ new pad, I converted some old spray paint caps into spider plant holders. I printed out some antique fabric designs and glued the paper to the sides. I think it came out cute.
