first post.... a hat!

I've been mostly lurking on here for a few months. I figured it's time I actually post something. I bought a set of the knifty knitter looms and I made a hat... for my son... lil' dragon. He chose the colors. The blue is Lion Brand Wool-ease Thick and Quick in Navy. I'm allergic to wool... but I managed to work the bit in blue without getting too itchy. The multicolored part is Lion brand Homespun in Harvest. His first choice was actually pink.... but I talked him out of it. He gets mistaken for being a girl enough already.

The hat in action!(Please forgive the messy desk in a background.... I'm in the process of crafting while packing for a move. The blue thing in the background is a pirate jacket which I'll post when the whole outfit is complete.
