Sep. 18th, 2005 10:03 pmLadies I have asked a lot of questions and made a lot of comment, but my mommy is my savior and sent me my camera USB. I have pictures.
This is Roscoe, my cutest ever dwarf hamster and if you follow her tracks, she'll lead you to my goodies. :)

The following pictures are images I hand painted on my wall with acrylics. These were traced out of a pattern book I scored off e-bay. The cardinal and apples were the first ones I did. Eventually, I plan on using the other patterns on other parts of my room. As they are finished, I will post. (The plate hanging is a hand-made Polish dish straight from Poland- giving props to wood crafters overseas)

This is a lamp I did over the summer. I should have taken before pictures, it was a hideous fucsia pink. I've had the lamp for 9 years this November, but I've always hated the color. So, one day, bored as sin, I painted it to match the northwood theme I'm keen on. Entirely hand painted and made up on the spot. once again, used acrylic paint. I used a plastic grocery bag to make the marble affect on the shade (greens, blues, whites, and browns) and puffy paint for the paw prints.

Finally, I did a lot of crocheting this summer. I didn't take a picture of the trains I did, but they made me sick of crocheting for over a week, lol. This is a hat that I made. No pattern- pretty much made it up on my own as I went along (notice this pattern? lol). Its all double crochet stitches. The front applique is a moose (pattern yet again, lol) and is modeled by the lovely Stitch. I am currently attempting to make mittens out of the same stitches.

Feel free to leave feedback, I enjoy knowing people enjoy my work. :D And if you want to see more of Roscoe, I've a couple more pictures of her posted on my personal LJ.
