Gremlin Ears

Ok, so I decided to be my favorite Gremlin for Halloween...especially since we've got matching hairstyles at the moment, haha.







I'm wondering about how to make the ears...I was thinking some kind of foam, but I want to get the details in there...maybe florist foam and carve them out? I've never done that before though, so I'd be afraid of screwing up, haha. I was also thinking paper mache, but that could possibly get too heavy for a headband to hold on comfortably.

Any advice is appreciated. :) Once I get the ears figured out, I'll be moving on to the hands and feet. :\ Everything else will be furry and pretty easy, heh.
