Lots o' Stuff
Oct. 5th, 2005 12:07 pmI made a bunch of stuff for a craft fair. One of my friends' sister makes candles and sells stuff at craft fairs, so she said she'd let me put my things out in the corner of her booth. I haven't talked to her since then, so I don't know how well things sold. I do this mostly for fun and like to try out lots of different things, so I've been curious which sort of pieces I make would sell. I really wish my husband had 3 sisters instead of 3 brothers. I don't have enough people to give all this stuff to as Christmas gifts if it doesn't sell.

These were actually a gift for somebody, so they didn't go to the fair. I've been making hair combs like these for a while, but seeing
njadean post that lovely hair comb with the peacock feathers made me want to add dangles to them.

I found some sterling plated chain at Michael's and had been wanting to try it out. I always see people making such cool jewelry with chain.

These earrings were made to match the necklace at the bottom.

These earrings were made to match the coiled wire necklace.

I like these a lot too. I think I might start wearing them myself if nobody bought them.

The green on these is actually a good bit more vivid in real life. The pictures didn't turn out too well.

This necklace took me hours and hours and hours to make. I even had my husband helping me coil the wire.

This is my favorite necklace that I made. I found the cool silver 5-strand clasp and just had to make something with it. I used some neat colored metallic delicas and peridot chips and some other beads that I had that my grandmother gave me.
