fairy wings for halloween
Oct. 6th, 2005 03:20 pmwell, this is my first ever time posting pics, so i hope i do it right!
i've been working on my daughter's halloween costume and got a ton of great advice on how to make the tutu/flower fairy-ish skirt... haven't started it yet because i wanted to make the wings first. also, a photo of a scarf i made last winter... it's my new favorite (i'm a bit of a scarf slut).

not done yet, this is the wrong side. i still have to figure out the best way to finish the edge so you can't see the wire and duct tape (black paint maybe?)

the longest scarf ever... i can wrap it around my neck a bajillion times. i like how bohemian it looks. i knit it lengthwise, rather than widthwise, which is my new favorite scarf-knitting technique.
