not so nekkid phone - sorry about the messed up cutting

I've been tired of digging for my lil baby cellphone in my bag and can never find one that I like so I decided to make one. Problem #1 = No sewing machine but I can handsew kinda okay...so fixed. Problem #2 = wanted to put grommits in for a "proper" handle but can't find where I put them...fixed that with some silver cording. It's jsut temporary til I find where those stupid little things are hiding.
basic designed like a little purse type thing but made from one piece of dark grey felt folded in half at the bottom. for the size i just used the phone itself.


all handsewn up the sides then across the sides of the bottom. can't explain it well but it makes the bottom squared.


i left it extra long so that i wouldn't be left with it too short


got the length right and sewed a cuff, leaving room for cording to close it. drawstring. ha. just remembered what it's called.


it was at this time that i realized i couldn't find the grommits. i'm so mad at myself.


here it is, done for now. with some thin silver cording as drawstring. left it long enough that i can tie around the strap of my bag with this inside so the phone doesn't disappear. bags without pockets is frusterbating no end!
