i have a build-a-bear polar bear that my boy gave me. he's gotten alot of lovin' and is now looking a bit grey...i want to clean him up but am unsure how to go about it. i remember reading somewhere once that you can just pop a teddy bear into a pillow case and pin it shut and put them in the washing machine, but the tag on this one says 'surface wash only'...i have no idea what to use to surface wash a bear, and i'd really like to not ruin him.

please, any ideas?
