Okay, so I am making a first attempt to paint a mural on one of my walls, but I ran into a slight problem: How do you fade paint from one color to another? I'm painting the Jack's Mannequin album artwork on my wall, so I need to fade from a light-ish blue to white. I tried using water on a brush to blend them, but it ended up being all blotchy and not so pretty looking.

Seriously, any help would be amazing. I really want to get this done by the end of the weekend, but I can't paint anything of the buildings or anything until I finish the sky.
