I was inspired on Sunday night to make a fabric necklace, like the ones made by [livejournal.com profile] alustrialcrafts. I have a ton of scrap fabric from my Grandma and beads that I've had since I was in elementary school so it cost absolutely nothing to make, which is nice since I'm broke right now. I used red fabric with green and gold glitter beads to make myself a Christmas necklace. It's all put together but now I'm stuck on how to finish the ends so I can put it on. I know that [livejournal.com profile] alustrialcrafts puts ribbon on the ends and ties a bow, but I wanted to use a real necklace clasp if it was possible. I have long hair and I don't want to mess with having to put my hair up so that it won't get tangled in the bow and whatnot.

The picture is terrible because the green beads look blue but I hope ya'll get the idea. Speaking of Christmas and pictures, I want a nice digital camera from Santa :P.

The beads that are inside the necklace came from another project where I ended up not even using any at all. I've got too many beads in the house.
