I had mentioned two things from the issue of Ready Made and was asked to explain them...so here they are:
Concrete lightbulb -
1. File around the top of the base of the lightbulb, so that the base and the filament can be removed intact from the glass, which should also be intact.
2. Fill the bulb with concrete until it is full.
3. Push the filament into the concrete until the base touches the glass.
4. Wait for it to dry and then break the bulb.
Makes a fun paperweight or little sculpture.
The soapdish condom holder entails simply mounting a soapdish next to your bed for holding anything you might need...
you should pick up the mag - it's quite clever and enlightening
