Knifty Knitter - Help!

craftgrrlI just got the Knifty Knitter round four-pack today from my work, but I wasn't able to get one of the project books (we're sold out, appartently). I'm impatient, and I want to start a scarf (especially since a cold front came in today). I've tried looking for instructions online as to how to make a one-colored scarf using the round Knitter, but I haven't had any luck. Can anyone help?
