Nov. 27th, 2005 08:07 pmOk. This is probably a silly quesion - I'm a fairly new crocheter, I'd say probably an advanced beginer. One thing I'm really having a problem with is crochet in the round. Whenever I make a hat or a bag in the round (not in the spiral) I have a funny ridge where my slip knot connects with the beginning of the round. Is this just par for the course when crocheting in the round, or am I doing something wrong? It's a bit annoying, because I have these nice hats in the front with an ugly seam in the back. Any Advice?
Thanks!
