Friendly Plastic?
Jan. 3rd, 2003 03:38 pmHi, I'm new to the community and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could specifically purchase the moldable plastic from Amaco called Friendly Plastic. Aparently this plastic can be placed into warm water to soften, molded, and submerged into cold water to harden. They are sold by the stick or even in moldable pellet-form.
I checked Michaels today with no luck and am wondering if they carry this product at hardware stores. Has anyone found it at retailers besides online?
Also, would Friendly Plastic hold up with items that are larger than jewelry, such as creating a figure or statue? And is it easier to work with than Sculpey (made by Amaco, as well)?
Thanks!
