We had the option of printing a cover and laminating it and spiral-binding the whole thing or we could build the book from scratch, so I chose to build it. It was interesting, and I'm thinking of doing it again. This could be a good project for a gift (scrapbook/photo album/journal) for someone.

I had no idea what to make the cover out of, so I cut up some posterboard and the back cardboard from my daughter's drawing tablets to the correct size and hot glued them together.

The squares have little vines in them, but they're really light and barely show up in the pictures.

Inside cover and title page.
Random pages inside:

Mixing charts

Shape project (Steam, ice cream and ghost)

Texture (Close-ups of this are here, if you're interested. That was my favorite project.)

Phantom colors and optical illusions. These work better IRL, but the ones on the bottom showed up pretty well. The shade of grey on the circle is the same on both sides, but looks different on the different backgrounds and the blue on the other picture is all the same color, but the squares in the center look brighter.

Spatial cues. This was looking pretty good and then I got tired of painting the blocks and painted an extra row of trees and a big crappy river or something. I was tired. No clue what it's supposed to be, some kind of patchwork land where women lounge round naked all day.

Back cover

Close up of the back, which is pointless since you can't really see anything.
ETA: I added some beads to the cover. I probably should have done this before I glued it on!
