Silkscreen Self-Portrait and Soaps

here's a detail of my latest silkscreening project. the full artwork is under the cut, plus some soaps i made as christmas presents:







^this didn't come out quite how i wanted it to... but tonight was the last night we could print in class, and we were also running out of certain colors... so next semester i am gonna add to it.



this is my first time making soaps! i hope to get better at it, but i am pleased with my first attempt, and plan to give some of these to friends for christmas:


^the plus sign is sandalwood scented(i know... that doesn't really match up, but oh well), the pink one is plumeria scented, and the purple-y one(EDIT:these bluish ones are actually more purple-ish in real life) is lavender scented.

^pot leaf soaps! i didn't have a marijuana scent, so i used the sandalwood scent...not even close to the same, but oh well... anyway, this was a pretty entertaining batch to make. my roommate left her rubber pot leaf ice tray here when she moved out, so i took advantage of it to make these babies!

so whattya think?
