Part One

hi. i started with my knifty knitter this week. i'm thrilled with it because i have trouble holding needles.

i am interested in making wrist warmers on the blue loom. i thought i could start with the provo mitten pattern, seen here,

provo mitten pattern:

http://www.provocraft.com/projects/projects.php?prdindex=kniftyknitter&dsp=project&idnum=22

am i correct in thinking that the thing to do is make these but not continue and make the top of the hand or the thumb?

what does knit flat mean? ...make the complete knitted together row? (i looked for but couldn't find a definition of knit flat.)

and what would it mean exactly to make the arm part longer and change the tops? will i be able to tell as i am doing it?

i have looked and looked for knifty knitter wrist warmer patterns, without success. if you have links that would help with these questions, i'd really appreciate them.

Part Two:

Wow. I think the Knifty Knitter instructions could be a lot better. I would like for the explanation of the outside knob on the looms to be at the beginning.

How would you improve the Knifty Knitter instructions?
