Cloth grocery bag question...

So I've found a couple of pattern/tutorials already, but I was just wondering what size, in your experience, works best? And I guess also, what shape do you prefer? Ok, last question (for now :), are there any other tips pertaining to making cloth grocery bags?



This is my first attempt at stenciling...


I didn't want to ruin any perfectly good clothes, so I used a piece of denim we had sitting around. It turned out well enough that I'm tempted to use it for at least a pocket on a bag...
