Years ago my mom made these beautiful applique and embroidered stockings for my sister and I. Now that we're grown and on our own and have other people in our lives, any other stocking next to the mom-originals looks really low-quality. This weekend I decided to make my boyfriend his very own stocking. While it's not up to the level of my mom's work, it looks great hanging beside my stocking over the fireplace!
