So I finally decided to take pictures of some of my stencil work. My first stencil I ever did was terrible and wasn't even worth taking a picture of. I used contact paper and that didn't work so well for me. Since then I have perfected my method to using Elmer's spray craft glue and manila folders. I've found it to be my most effective method. So, on with the stencils!

So this is one of my first stencils I did. It didn't quite turn out how I wanted it to, but it was still pretty good. I messed up a lot of the words.

This is my newest stencil. I'm rather proud of it because it is my best stencil I've ever done. My lines are pretty neat and the writing came out amazing. I made it for my secret santa, who just happened to be my good friend, in my cosmetology class. We had our party thing today. We had an inside joke about Boots and Wranglers and when I stumbled upon this stencil I had to use it. Originally it had a horseshoe in the stencil but I took it out because it just didn't seem to fit the theme I was going for.

I wrapped it in that bandana. Because I got home a realized that I had no bag or wrapping paper to put it in. I thought it matched the theme somewhat. lol She really loved it.

I do have one question though. When I use the Elmer's spray glue I always end up getting a ton on my hands. And I'm afraid to use rubber gloves because I know it would probably just stick to the gloves. But does anybody know a way to get that glue off your hands. My hands are always sticky and have tons of crap all over them and look so gross for like a day or two after I stencil because of it. Any ideas?
