big big craftiness! [and contest entry :)]

my boyfriend and i decided to make a nice frosted christmas tree.

which came out like this. it was sort of hilarious how ugly it was, but it was tasty nontheless!

my dad asked me to make covers for our old chair cushions. i did them a bit sloppily--we've been looking for a new set for a while and these are just so that the chairs arent horrid ot look at ;)

yay now to the FUN stuff!
my father gave me a blazer (he liked but it was too small for him), i decided it was too boxy and boyish.

yucky big shoulders and too small of hips (whoa, it looks really disproportionate now that i look at it =|)

oh, beauty! no more tiny hips and saggy back-area




my new HUGE purse. i am still brainstorming up what to put on the front, i feel too plain leaving it straight black. maybe a star in one of the lining fabrics? (the lining is sloppy yes, but i was going for sloppy)

next, to my CONTEST ENTRY whee!


the box that holds my boyfriends' first gift (the other one was just splatters of black and white, a bit boring). i usually don't like robots but it just evolved into a little robot-ish thing. all hand-painted and improvised.

here are the two boxes wrapped and made into yet another robot-thing! he's nervous (i am nervous that my boyfriend will think it's stupid--it mustve reflected onto its face) and i think it makes him look adorable. 3 candy canes in his little pocket (maybe i will turn them upside down and make them look like pens?)
