Wreath

So, I'm making a wreath and swag (and got coordinating frames and photos enlarged) for my grandma for Christmas...



Here's my first attempt (Before):


And After making some adjustments:
(took out one of the flowers and moved the stuff on the right more towared the center)




I was going for a combination of gold tones, purple, and a bit of green (which is picked up in the frames).

Sorry, no photo of the swag- my cats won't leave it alone so it is out of reach!

My grandma's in a nursing home right now and refuses to have anything brought from home to warm it up and personalize her room, so that's why I chose this (the photos span her and my grandfather from kids to their 35th anniversary).

The wreath is really basic- but here's the thing- I bought stuff to add to it each season (gold/yellow mums, sunflowers, fake pumpkins, blown and hand decorated eggs, gold ornaments), to keep it ever new and interesting.
