yo-yo ornaments

I finished enough ornaments last minute to give to a few of my bosses/coworkers who bought me Christmas gifts. It's unfortunate I couldn't make everyone in the office an ornament, but that's how time sneaks up on ya. I made a candy cane, two wreaths (I ran out of white on the one and had to use a green at top) and a Christmas tree (which looks a little lopsided in the picture, but it's really not).

By the way, these were made by yo-yo sewing, which is making a running stitch around a circle of fabric and then pulling the thread to gather the circle into a smaller puffed circle. Then I just sewed the circles together in festive shapes and added vintage buttons for decoration and ribbon to hang.
