Creative wrapping?
Dec. 22nd, 2005 10:38 pmI'm not sure how creative this is, but I sure had fun with it.
I got two pictures of my mom's dogs printed at 5x7 and put them in the frames she likes- the simple, one piece frames that curve, rather than having a little swing-out arm to prop them up. (I should have taken pics, but I didn't.) But how to wrap them?
I started with a roll of sturdy craft paper. I wrapped all my presents in craft paper this year, with metallic ribbon. I started out making a bag for the frames, then decided to go one step further. I hole punched the top periodically, then laced it up with curling ribbon, making a nice triangular package, very sturdy. It's reinforced with a piece of cardboard in the bottom, covered with the same craft paper and adhered. I added a tag to the front made of scrapbooking paper, and I'm very happy with the finished product!

I'm hoping she likes it, although it's going to be a pain in the ass to get into!
