My boyfriend is an avid video game player/collector of systems. So when it came down to deciding how I wanted to decorate his stocking, there was only one logical, hardcore way to go. MARIO!





I bought the stocking at joanns, and used heat and bond ultra to attach felt pieces that I had cut out. I opted to make mario's outfit green and white instead of red and blue, to provide more color contrast. The eye and hand details were drawn on using permanent marker. I also cut out my boyfriends name from felt, along tiny "+1" details near mario's hands.

It came out surprisingly well, so now I am making myself a matching princess toadstool one. More pictures when I am done!
