this is only mildly craft related, but this is my favorite community on here and i know a lot of you are into art as well as crafts. if you have any suggestions for other communities i could post this is, please let me know!

POLAROID ZINE NOW TAKING SUBMISSIONS

..and name ideas, heh.

so yeah, i’m getting started on my polaroid zine, and i really want you to be a part of it.
you can scan your submissions and email them to me (lindseyyy@gmail.com)
or PM/E-mail me for my address if you want to send me a disc or actual photos.

so, the size is gonna be 1/4 so basically all that can fit on each page is 1 picture, and a title /small caption for the picture if you want. if you have 1 photo, your name will be at the top of the page with the photo, if you have more than 1, it will be on the top on the first one and your other photos will follow. so basically it will be organized by photographer. i will try to fit as many submissions as i can afford to print, but if you send several, they may not all be included... when you submit you can tell me which ones you’d prefer to be in the zine, but other than that i will just use my personal judement. any pictures i dont use, i will save for the next issue.

ALSO, i want a few short blurbs about how rad polaroids are, if you have a childhood memory involving polaroids, or anything like that.

they are gonna be in color which will probably get expensive, so if you want to donate a dollar or two to printing costs, feel free, but do NOT feel like that is an obligation. i will try to get a free copy of the zine to anyone who submits and then if you want you can make copies and sell it, too.

and i’m having a hard time coming up with a name for the zine. i want it to be something that pertains to photography/polaroids, but i can’t think of anything spectacular. so even if you dont have submissions or anything, you can help me think of a name! if you suggest the name i end up using, you can for sure have a free zine. so far my best idea is “Shake It!” or “Shake it like you mean it!”

also, for the cover i kind of want a line-art picture of a person shaking a polaroid, so if you dont take photos but you would be interested in drawing the cover, please let me know!
