So, here's a little story. I saw super cute snowflake fabric onsale at JoAnn's and decided to use it to make my sister something for Christmas. I later decided to make her a fleece vest, and line it with snowflakes. It was a bit of a bitch to figure out (I made the pattern from an izod fleece hoodie vest I already own), but not actually that hard to do. It was a little too wide, and short, but overall pretty cute, so I decided to tweak the pattern and make myself one. I just finished it about an hour ago, and I'm very very excited for it. It reminds me of Gobo the fraggle.

I do realize that I should not under any circumstances wear this vest with that shirt, but I was excited and wanted to take pictures and didn't feel like changing my existing shirt. Also, they're a little blurry because apparently that mirror is really dirty or something.

Also, I got a knifty knitter for Christmas and this is the first decent looking thing I made with it:

I had to knit with three pieces of yarn, but it's actually vaguely the right size and not see-through (unlike the first couple drafts) However, I think I prefer regular knitting because it looks nicer, though takes a little longer.
