More Pages!

To celebrate the New Year, my hubby and I went to his parent's house. Not exactly the most thrilling thing in the world but we really had nothing better to do (sad, I know). So while he was playing computer games with all the guys, I worked on my scrapbook with my mother-in-law.

First, you might remember this page that I didn't care for and wanted to re-work.

Here is the before:

Now it looks like this:

Someone from my last post gave me the idea to add some journaling and maybe write the names of everyone who was in the picture. Since I'm already starting to forget the names of some of the people I went to school with I thought that was a good idea. But I didn't want to clutter up the page with all that writing so I decided to make the picture flip up and I'm going to write all the names under it so if I ever can't remember who someone is I can take the page out and flip it up. I just haven't gotten around to actually writing the names yet.

The quote says "A smile will gain you ten more years of life". This is the last page for Senior prom.

I'm not sure how crazy I am about this page. Basically I didn't have enough pictures for two pages but too many to do one page without making it look cluttered. I just noticed the finger prints all over the bottom picture so ignore that :)

Since I didn't have enough room to journal on this page either and I liked how my first flip picture came out I decided to do one on this page too. Plus, I love showing people my layouts but sometimes it makes me a little uncomfortable to have them read my journaling. I can be a little dorky about my memories sometimes so I get a little embarrassed. I think this is a good way to preserve the memory but keep it hidden to everyone else.
