Up close it looks like this...
Fourteen years ago, my mom crocheted the edges of my baby brother's blankets -- kind of like how I did my shirt -- but I never learned to crochet from her. Now he's almost 6 feet tall, and I know how to crochet. Ain't life grand? :)
