I have a ton of little hard cardboard shaped boxes from the holidays. Chocolate boxes, things gifts were in, etc. I love painting them and turning them into strange creations, jewelry boxes, etc. I just have a question. What would be best for getting all the labels and stickers off to get to the base of the box. I know I’ll most likely be putting on a very thin coat of gesso to smooth it out. I read somewhere that your supposed to use nail polish remover for this. Has anyone done this before? Does it work well? If any of you have used anything else please let me know. Also, do any of you have links to idea’s of what you have done with little boxes and things?
