N00bie Post!
Jan. 5th, 2006 02:45 pmHi! I only joined recently, and so far I adore looking at everything everyone has posted and leaving my feedback. We've got a really great community here!
I'm not nearly as crafty as many of you, although I want to be. *laughs* I'm mostly a seamstress, and have done a few costumes here or there...
I also enjoy making small things out of Sculpy. I'd love to know what everyone here thinks of my stuff. I usually make pandas along the lines of Tare Panda by San-X, although I've made one cat along the line of San-X's Nyanko or "food cat" line.

I also have a really silly question. A while back, I painted a kanji character on a scrap of black fabric (kind of shiney, kind of stretchy, may be stretch satin but I'm not sure). It turned out REALLY well, and I don't really know what I should do with it! It was a scrap, so it's funny shaped, but I'm sure I could square it off. But my biggest problem is the fact that I didn't end up leaving much 'seam allowance' on the edges. Well, much allowance at all. There's probably not even an inch around that isn't painted, or maybe just an inch. Any ideas of what I should do with this baby?
