glue gun burn
Jan. 5th, 2006 02:01 pmhi, so...
i got hot glue on my left hand's forefinger, and it hurt so @(#$&$@*@#& much. quickly immersed it in cold water to stop the burning and get the glue off, but my finger stings pretty bad and now it looks like it has some sort of blister on it (it's the only part that stings):

should i worry about this? i've never burned myself before on anything, so i don't know if this is normal. and also - how can i help relieve the pain?? it stings so bad. >_< so much for crafting today. i'm sick and crafting was the only way to make being sick not so bad.
a warning - no matter how careful you are, mistakes happen. i'm always going to wear gloves when i use my hot glue gun from now on. :\
edit: ty for the help ;) craftgrrls to the rescue!
