My very first crochet project. :)

      For Christmas my mother got me some crochet hooks and a book so I could learn, because I've known how to knit for a long time but never learned how to crochet. I pretty much mastered all of the different stitches on Christmas day, then forgot about it for awhile to work on my various in-progress knitting projects. But last night I picked it up again and ended up making myself a hat:

      It's nothing too spectacular, but I'm still proud of myself. :)
