Getting the word out
Jan. 6th, 2006 11:44 amHi, everyone! Sorry for the text-only post, but I have a business-related question and thought this community was the best place to turn. I'm not trying to sell anything here, but if this breaks any community rules let me know and I'll delete.
I opened an online store this month and am trying to get the word out. As has been suggested in the memories, I've advertised my stuff at LJ communities that allow it, and have registered my site with Bust.com, DIY Revolution and other independent craft databases. I'm preparing to send an assortment of things to The Sampler soon. So now it seems like my last option is advertising.
Have any of you had success with advertising your business, and where? For non-businessfolk, on which sites do you usually click ads? And finally, have I covered all my bases, or is there anything else I can do to spread the word?
Thanks so much for any feedback you can give me!
