I like beads......


some say, a bit too much.....





A Leafy Sprite Goddess...about 5" tall...all sorts of greens with a hint of brown. I used some super soft eyelash yarn for her hair.

And just to show a size comparasion.....



I make a stuffed core, either from felt or quilter's cotton. Just a basic shape, two pieces of cloth. I stuff it as packed as I can get it, so it won't flop around and mess up the bead work later. Then I sew on the bigger beads where I want them, then go back and fill in with the smaller beads till the entire form is covered. Then I make a face out of clay and bead around it so I have something to attach it to the body with. Then I add the hair or bead the hair.
