ok i havnt posted here in a while...





haha...christmas present. my friend and i were sitting in her room and she said "wouldnt it be cool if i had a giant cockroach on my wall?" and i started coming up with ideas like "with a pink background???" "and poka dots????" yeah. so...acrylic on canvas. dont remember how big. decent sized though. kinda psuedo-stencilled. Its more that i drew out the body on some cardstock, cut it out, then traced it with crayon then painted it. then drew on the layers with crayon and then painted it.

I dont really like it. because I came out bad. BUT look at the bricks. they are wonderful. here's some detail:



it's charcoal with a tea wash. my concentration is self-portraits with charcoal. so far my other two are coming out much better. one of them is finished but i don't have a pic and i left it at school this weekend. the other two are bigger too. um, i'll give you dimensions when i post them
