easy easy photo "quilt"

So... I wanted to make my best friend Dennis a photo quilt with pictures of me and him for christmas. It was obviously already going to be an after winter break/christmas kinda gift, but since i've NEVER before quilted in my life I just felt really intimdated by the thought of a quilt.... SO, instead I bought a fleece blanket, a yard of patterned fleece, some inkjet printer fabric (THE BEST STUFF EVER!) and some buttons... and this is what I did instead.
