i don't mean to perpetuate this whole love/hate martha stewart thing but i saw something today that i just though was crappy and distasteful and kind of inappropriate..

so on cnn.com today i saw this story:
CNN - new "most annoying people" website

and martha stewart was on the top of the list.
this is a segment from the article:
"The kitschy site's 1.4 million visitors chose embattled domestic goddess and businesswoman Martha Stewart as their No. 1 most annoying person of 2002. Among the principal reasons listed for the honor: "She can do anything better than you."

i, for one, LOVE martha stewart.
i think if it wasnt for her lots of people wouldnt pay crafting the respect it deserves. i think her ideas and projects have inspired a lot of people to craft and find passion in it.
i know she gets a lot of media attention and had that whole sketchy tax thing last year, but i dont pay attention to that stuff.
i love her website and respect what she does.

and as for this article, i dont think she should be pegged as "annoying" because she can "do anything better than you" - isnt that a little self righteous and egotistical?

oh whatever. i still love her.
