Jan. 9th, 2003 09:14 pmTonight I made a clock out of a record. I don't have pics yet, but I'll try and explain it. Its really simple!
All you need is a record, clock parts (I bought mine in a package from Michaels for 6 dollars), and some clock numbers.
Now, I had to stick a match in the hole in the record because it was a little too small to fit the shaft of the clock (where the hands are attatched to). I just let the match make it soft for a few seconds and then pushed through with my finger to make the hole a tad bigger.
The all I had to do was stick the clock shaft through, put the hands on, oh and stick on the self adhesive numbers and voila. I now have a late x-mas gift for my musically inclined friend.
The longest part was rooting around in the garage for old records.
