Today I want to make my first dress... I wanted to know if anyone would be able to draw a basic pretty dress pattern for me to enlarge, just so i can the right idea on the shape. I can't figure out how the bodices will go together and if I have to seperate closer to the chest or if there is a bigger shape that can hold the pattern in place as the fabric I want to use has lots of pattern on it and I don't want it to look BADD.

I was thinking a nice simple 1950's shape. With a cute sailor collar like...
