Jan. 30th, 2006 11:00 amThis is a leftover smocked panel from my childhood. Mom finished it and decided that she didn't like the pink and it was shuffled into a box. I rescued it, found what I think is the perfect fabric, and brought it up to date. :)
The fabric didn't want to photograph too well. The last picture here is probably the closest to what the fabric looks like. It has stripes of khaki, brown, white and pink, with a thin white and khaki floral stripe and a dark raspberry colored pinstripe.
I love the double ties in the back, but they were a pain in the butt to make. I was trying to use my knitting needles to turn them and they kept poking through the fabric. Bleh.
I'm working on building up some more outfits. I've got a 3rd one finished now....I just need to iron it and take pictures!
Anyway, on to the pictures!
