Okay I need some advice.

A club at my school goes on a trip every year for a weekend. About 80 kids go and break into small groups and we have activities planned and whatnot...Our theme this year is superheroes. I'm a leader of a small group and I have to make 15 superhero capes for everyone in my group. We're using them as a closing activity at the end of the weekend and we're putting each person's name on the cape and everyone in the group has to write something positive about each person on their cape. Cheesy, yes.

Anyway. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this. We bought lots of fabric and ribbon to tie them. I'm thinking I have two options. I can either cut out the fabric for the cape, hem it, and then just sew the ribbon along the top, or I can fold the top over and make a drawstring-like pocket and thread the ribbon through.

I'm wondering what my best option would be. Or if anyone has any other ideas. I think I might just be making this way harder than it should be.

EDIT-- Our group is Mighty Mouse, which might just be the worst superhero ever. The other groups include Superman, Spiderman, Batman, and The Hulk. And we get stuck with Mighty Mouse. So if anyone has any other cute ideas of things to make/wear/do that have to do with Mighty Mouse, feel free to share. Because we have nothing.
