some misc pictures
Feb. 6th, 2006 03:27 amI just uploaded my latest pictures and thought I'd share some stuff that I made.

I made this little stuffed kitty for a friend's daughter, who had her first birthday this weekend. We named her Delicious, because as soon as the baby saw it, she put it right in her mouth.

Here's a side shot, so you can appreciate just how funny and fat she really is. She's made from the Kate pattern on knitty, but with a few changes. I used acrylic yarn, instead of Lamb's Pride, so she'd be washable (on accounta the saliva), and put her arms up higher. I figured that since she's a baby gift, it'd be good to have handles on all sides, so I spread them around a bit more.

Then I made this bunny as a birthday gift for my niece. She's from a pattern that I found on craftster, and that I've also seen on a couple of LJ craft communities, that's out of a Japanese craft book.

Also, although it's not crafty per se, I made cinnamon rolls the other day, and besides being delicious, they were just really attractive cinnamon rolls, ya know? And although you can't tell from the picture, they're really big. Like cinnabon size.

And last, I made camera cozies for my boyfriend and mom for Christmas, but only just got a picture of one of them. I just made up the pattern as I went, and then used the pig head pattern from the pig cell cozy in the SnB book. My mom's was a blue teddy bear, but basically the same.
