Marble Magnet packaging
Feb. 6th, 2006 03:21 pmI'm making marble magnets to sell as a fundraiser at my school's production of the Vagina Monologues. All proceeds are going toward a local femenist self-defense organization.
(I got tons of magnets for reletively cheap at magnetshop.com.)
Now I need to find a way to package them. My main concerns:
- $$$! The more I spend on the supplies, the less I get to donote :(
- Time/effort. I'm making all the magnets for free (i.e. volunteering my time) and honestly, I don't have time to make a kajillion oragami boxes. I need something pre-made that's easy to get. (Anyone want to donate 200 - 500 altoid tins?)
- Fragility (Is that a word?) Anyone who has made marble magnets knows that they are fairly sturdy, but not indestructible. I want to be able to sell them without thinking that they will fall apart in someone's purse or pocket.
Thoughts? Thanks!
