Heart Foot Print Finished Project
Feb. 7th, 2006 11:06 pmFirst of all, I want to thank everyone who gave me ideas for what to do with the following heart foot prints. You all helped me to come up with a much better craft than just a card as my original idea. This turned out so much better than my first plan. Thank you!

I cut out frames from cardboard backing I've been keeping for crafts. Then wrapped the frames with old blue jean material. Why blue jean? Well, I am currently in the process of making my son a blue jean quilt and it was right there - and I thought it would look good. I then taped the prints down onto another piece of cardboard that I used to cover the back so that it would look nice. Then I lined them up and connected them with light blue ribbon. I attached everything (except the actual prints) using the duck tape of crafting...a glue gun (I love that thing).
Here is a close up view of one of the frames:

Really, thanks again to all who helped me come up with this idea. Your suggestions really helped me come up with this. I am pleased with the results. It does look better in person. I hope my husband likes it.
