Each bag was made using this awesome bag tutorial.
I had a bunch of inexpensive fabric that I got from Joann's at their huge clearance sale, naturally.
The blue one is twill and the black one is canvas. Both have interfacing.
I modified the tutorial for size and added a different closure and also an inside pocket.
My sister and my friend like kitties, both have 3, so I decided to use the original tutorial poster's cute cat applique.
I used 100% wool felt and embroidery thread to attach it. The kitties are so soft!
