so i work at Value Village aka Savers which is a large thrift store chain in the USA, Canada and Australia. anyway this monday is our big 50% off sale (in canada anyway...) and we have to dress up 1950's style. my friend at work found this skirt for herself but it was just plain pink so i said i would sew a poodle on it for her. i ended up deciding to embroider it instead and im really happy with the results! it only took about 3 hours and i think it looks fab.

so i printed a picture off the internet and traced it onto the skirt with a pencil. and started to ebroider with rasberry thread.
