Various Valentine's Crafts
Feb. 14th, 2006 11:56 pmSubmitted for your amusement, I have three crafts; a plushie, customised MLP with matching purses, and some HP-geeky fluff.
First is the plushie I made for my bf. The body is made from that Japanese craft-book pattern which has been floating around lately. He was partly inspired by a weird cartoon aired on our national tv station, The ^very^ good adventures of Yam roll in the Happy Kingdom, where all the characters are pieces of sushi. (o_0 yeah, I know)
please meet, Baby Dynamite!

He's made of black and white flannel, various felts, a bit of fleece, polyfil and those scented beads from laSenza for weight, two vintage buttons for eyes and a sweet embroidery smile. His festive bib is felt and ribbon.

These three ponies and purses were inspired by some neat patches I found at my local dollar store. Each one became the symbol (and namesake) for the customs, and are affixed at the pocket of each purse. Supplies include; cotton prints (some vintage), velcro, elastic, lace, ribbon, eyelet, buttons, and paint.
Kissy Face

Honey Pie

Smoochie

Finally, here are some Pygmy Puffs dressed up in headbands; a Bunny, a Kitty, and a Love bug! Also, two cupid-puffs!

Supplies include; pipe cleaners, covered wire, mini buttons, felt, and thread. and easter pompoms for the Puffs, of course!
Here's hoping everyone had a great Valentine's day! I love all you craftgrrls (and guys)!
