tie-dyeing with bleach/pictures
Feb. 15th, 2006 01:08 pmI have a red shirt that has been faded in the front due to being in the front of a bookstore window.
I would love to tie-dye this red and white... Could I use bleach to do this? Or should I get some Rit-Dye in white (if that exists)?
Also, when is it safe to throw in with regular colored clothes after tie-dyeing?

I made this scarf while waiting in line for 2 1/2 hours for a [hockey game.] (Shirt by [threadless.])

Close-up of the scarf, which is made with a ball of Moonlight Mohair yarn.

Does anyone else collect Jones Soda labels? I have around 100 or so, but this is the only Jones Natural label I had, and I loved it so much that I slapped magnetic backing to it and now it is a magnet!

A hat that I made for my (now ex) boyfriend. I definitely messed it up, but he's still wearing it even though there's a huge hole in it.

A bulletin board I haven't touched in over 3 years. (There are funky origami things I've forgotten how to make, plus a few creative letters from my friends/pen-pals.)

I am also a "chalk artist."

And I use crayons. (This was for a graduating friend.)

My biggest crochet project to date... an afghan I made this summer while I tried to find a job. The blue is actually purple in reality.

A gift (it's unfinished in this picture) from my (now ex) boyfriend, based on the following picture:

Thank you!
